Legend Israeli-born international music pioneer, Rami Fortis, the godfather of Israeli punk-rock music, known in recent years for his groove fashion choices, has incorporated Nativ Tattoo unique pieces of clothing into his performance wardrobe and was recently featured on the cover of Pnai Plus, a leading Israeli entertainment weekly, wearing a tailored blue suit from the Tattoo collection.
Active since the late 1970s, Fortis is responsible for the first punk-rock Israeli album, his solo debut album, Plonter (Knots, 1978), a breakthrough in Israeli music, now considered a cult. An active member of the Israeli alternative music scene in the early 1980s, he collaborated with various local music bands, before leaving to Europe to join the international sensation post-punk band, Minimal Compact.
With a successful career spanning nearly 5 decades, Fortis has served as a judge in the Israeli version of X-Factor for the first 2 seasons.
